Urban Expo

I was tasked with making an app of my choice using React Native and the Expo platform. I chose to build an app around my hobby, discovering and exploring abandoned places AKA urban exploring. Since there was no existing database, I used web scraping techniques (with permission from the owner) to collect data from various sources, resulting in over 3000+ locations gathered over the years.

I then integrated this data into the app, which lets users filter, search, create, and find locations on a map by genre, rating, and more.
